The word Halieus is Greek for "fisher". In Matthew 4, Jesus approached Peter and Andrew as they cast their nets into the Sea of Galilee, inviting them instead to follow Him and become fishers of men. They recognized the opportunity, dropped their nets at once and did just that! Halieus Partners was founded on the belief that people are worth so much more than their profession.
